Hello MGSD families!

We are excited to welcome back our students! Mooresville Graded School District will operate on its regular schedule Thursday, February 5, 2026. We realize there is a slight chance for rain and flurries overnight, but all indications, according to the meteorologists, are that it will not stick or affect roads other than being a bit wet. That being said, we will have our team driving the roads throughout the district early tomorrow morning. If we find the forecast was incorrect and road conditions are poor, we will let you know by 6:00am; otherwise, we will plan on seeing our students in person at the regular time on Thursday!

  • Enhance partnerships with community organizations to support staff wellness and employee experiences.
  • Create innovative and accessible career development pathways.
  • Enhance leadership development opportunities across the district. 
  • Enhance and establish a culture of support for the education professionals leading students.
  • Create an all inclusive onboarding system to immerse employees in the Mooresville Graded School District culture. 
  • Ensure leaders have the skills needed to establish a culture of inclusive practices and belonging for all employees.
