COVID-19 Virtual Learning Plan

On March 14, Governor Roy Cooper ordered the closure of all North Carolina public schools through at least May 15 in an attempt to try to halt the spread of COVID-19. During this closure, our goal is to make sure our students continue to have access to learning via virtual learning plans (VLPs) and nutritious meals, allowing them to establish a routine. We realize this is uncharted territory, and we will certainly be flexible with our students and families. We would ask the same from our families.  We also realize that with major changes comes increased levels of stress and anxiety for everyone; however, we firmly believe that by working as partners for the common good of doing what is best for our children, we will overcome the difficulties we face with this virus. We will be utilizing this site as a way to post any information regarding COVID-19, how it affects our district, and our Virtual Learning Plans.  As we implement this plan, we will continually monitor it and make adjustments as necessary.  Thank you!
