Since the bond referendum has been placed on the March 3rd ballot, we have heard a recurring question from those in our community who are supportive of our schools but frustrated with the growth:  Why aren’t those profiting off of all of the growth in our area responsible, at least in part, for helping with the cost of new schools?  Please click the link above to read the answer to this important questions.

Ms. Leanne Rose, PVES Teacher, NC BTOY

Leanne Rose, a second-grade teacher at Park View Elementary School in the Mooresville Graded School District (MGSD), was named the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) Beginning Teacher of the Year in a special ceremony Thursday, December 5, 2019.  Rose was named the MGSD Beginning Teacher of the Year in August 2019.  Click the headline to read more!

On Tuesday, November 5, elections will be held for the Mooresville Graded School District Board of Education.  Community members living within the MGSD school district will have the opportunity to vote for up to three school board candidates. MGSD has a non-partisan, five-member board of education. This election cycle there are three seats up for vote with four candidates running for those seats. In this guide, our our community members have the opportunity to learn about the four candidates and read, in the candidates' words, their answers to four identical questions about themselves, the district, and education. Thank you!

Back 2 School Bash '19 Flyer

It is that time of year to register your student(s) for the Back 2 School Bash!  With the new calendar, it will be taking place a bit earlier this summer on July 13.  This wonderful community event is made possible by local churches, businesses, and community members and helps our students start the school year off right with new shoes, school supplies and a day of fun!
